Consent

Every connection starts with your consent, given in the driver's own visible dialog, before any app is read or controlled.

Click-only

  • Nothing is selected by default.
  • Only a mouse click selects apps and accepts the dialog. Enter, Space, a host approval or a pre-approval flag cannot grant consent.
  • There is no test mode that accepts automatically in a real session.

What the dialog shows

The dialog lists the candidate apps with the executable identity and process id the operating system reports, so you can tell two windows of the same name apart. You choose a subset. At most 12 candidates are shown at once; a host with more should narrow its request first.

Host approvals

A host app can add its own approvals on top: for example, ask you before each read or action inside the session. These come after the driver's dialog and never replace it.
